Did you know that 90% of the bank bailout money went to only 23 banks? Did you know that the following received 65-70% of ALL of their campaign contributions from those same 23 banks (and the lobbyists, and their affiliates, those banks hired)?

After that post I was contacted by some folks from the Independence Caucus. The original website is weak on design but strong on content. It is currently being re-worked from a design perspective, but the movement is starting to catch on. They have over 700 members now in 33 states and are organizing nationwide to implement change in House and Senate races nationwide. These are strong grassroots organizers that have had some pretty amazing success.
Will you take 10 minutes and read this letter and watch their You Tube videos? It will be time well spent.

Can you post a source for your information about the spending abuses? I like it (and believe it), but I would like to have some source material to back it up.

The group that I'm working with at Independence Caucus is working on creating a video to document it all. They are mining data from public sources. If you read this letter http://www.tellyourneighbor.com/icaucus/ it will tell you more about how and where they are collecting data. I'll post all the details here on my blog as I get them.
