Ever Had a Good Idea?

We sometimes get ADD at our company. So many ideas and a bunch of entrepreneurs. We've been working on a tool to help us look at those ideas from a bunch of different angles and get votes from a group to gauge the validity of an idea. So to you my friends I announce the beta launch of FreeBrainstorm.com.

If you don't check it out now, don't worry, I'm sure I'll be spamming you in the coming days or weeks once we get some bugs worked out. Internet Explorer is having some issues, but if you are smart and use Firefox, head over and signup for an account, give me some feedback, and let me know what you like and what you don't.

Nice job Eric, the app and site look great!

Bit of a blogging fiend these days huh? :) I'll check it out.

I just took a glance and my first impression was a good one. I like the humor of it. (LOVE David Hasselhoff) j/k. The face on the home page is priceless. Good job. If I ever have a good idea I'll use it.

Yeah, I've been mocked for having a blog and never updating it. I still suck and writing so I've got to work on that but someday I'll get better and be cool like Kara

okay, like the site layout, nice and easy, the guy kind of creeps me out, reminds me of one of Karli's old boyfriends, oh wait, she married that one. :) The humor is fun but makes it not look too serious??

Yeah, we're going for a light feeling. Something fun not overly corporate.

It's a great idea Ryan. I like the light-hearted approach too. BTW, there's a typo near the top, where it says, "explore it's merits". This is your English-major-geek aunt I guess, but it should read "explore its merits" because the "its" in this case is possessive instead of a contraction of "it is." Sigh. I'm can't help pointing out stuff like that. It's compulsive.

Like the site - had to sign up in hopes that it would encourage me to have a good idea. Now just waiting on the idea - tough being a pessimist. :)

Hey Matt,

Glad you signed up. Any thoughts on the site? Are there things that you liked/disliked? Anything that you thought, why didn't they... (put this here, tell me how to do this...etc?) or any steps that require that don't make sense?

Seems good so far, although I haven't used it much yet. One suggestion is a social aspect for people that have ideas, but not necessarily people they know that they want to share them with. Maybe public groups or special interest groups sections, or a browse public ideas/conversations kind of thing, for people who are loners and aren't anti-social like me. ;)
